OENOACTIV is a complete fermentation activator composed of yeast hulls, diammonium phosphate (DAP) and thiamine hydrochloride (0.2%). It improves the availability of yeast assimilable nitrogen (YAN) in the must, helps maintain proper yeast cell membrane permeability and increases alcohol tolerance.
OenoActiv promotes a faster and safer completion of fermentation and is recommended for preventing problems associated with sluggish or stuck fermentations. It can also be used as a yeast nutrient during the second half of fermentation or in cases of difficult, slow or arrested fermentations.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
Musts: from 20 to 30 g/hL, depending on the type and characteristics of the must being fermented.
Before determining the appropriate dosage, it is recommended to measure the content of yeast assimilable nitrogen (YAN). The addition of 10 g/hL of OenoActiv provides approximately 14 mg/L of assimilable nitrogen.
