Technosugheri sparkling wine cork stoppers are specifically designed to withstand the demanding conditions associated with bottling and storing sparkling wines, where high internal pressure requires outstanding sealing performance and excellent mechanical stability.
They are available either entirely in agglomerated cork or in a composite version, featuring an agglomerated cork body with two natural cork discs on the end that comes into contact with the sparkling wine. All versions are manufactured in the standard 30.5 × 48 mm size and are available in several quality grades to suit different types of sparkling wines and aging requirements.
Manufacturing Technology
Unlike many products currently available on the market, Technosugheri sparkling wine corks are manufactured using an advanced cork granule selection and grading process.
The cork granules are screened into three different size classes before being bonded with a food-grade adhesive. This manufacturing technology produces a homogeneous structure with uniform density and consistent mechanical properties throughout the entire cork body.
The result is a cork stopper that responds uniformly to compression during bottling, withstands the internal pressure generated by sparkling wine and maintains dimensional stability despite temperature fluctuations during storage and transportation.
